Skiing on the Gran Risa & the Sellaronda
Skiing
The Alta Badia ski area and the famous Sellaronda are easy to reach. The Gran Risa base station is about 800 meters from Ciasa Rosra. In winter, our guests can use the public bus, with the stop just 100 meters from the house and the bus runs regularly, taking you comfortably to the chairlift. After an active day, you can store all your equipment in our heated ski storage with boot dryer.
Winter Activities
Alta Badia offers many options beyond the slopes. We recommend cross-country skiing in San Cassiano on well-prepared trails with lessons available. You can explore the snowy landscape on winter hikes or snowshoes along the many trails around La Villa. Ice skating on frozen Lake Sompunt or at the Corvara ice rink offers a different way to enjoy the season.
