Hiking
Trails for every level start from La Villa. We especially recommend the Piz La Ila plateau for families, with its varied paths toward Pralongià. The views are spectacular, and the high-altitude playground here is one of the best-equipped in the region. Those seeking tranquility off the busier trails will find it in the alpine meadows of Armentara. These paths are perfect for leisurely walks. For experienced climbers, Gran Cir and Sas de Stria offer challenging ascents with extraordinary views of the Dolomites.
Cycling
Alta Badia is ideal for cycling enthusiasts of all levels. In summer, the popular "Bike Days" take place, when major Dolomite passes are closed to cars and reserved for cyclists. Besides classic road biking, the area offers numerous mountain bike trails and via ferratas for every experience level. For a day trip, we also recommend the alpine lakes of South Tyrol, such as Lake Braies and Lake Sorapis.
Mobility
In Alta Badia, you often won't need your car. As a guest of Ciasa Rosra, you benefit from excellent infrastructure: the guest card gives you free access to all valley buses. The bus stop is only 100 meters from the house. The village center with supermarkets and restaurants is just a 5-minute drive away. For a relaxing day, we recommend the local day spas.
