A special experience for families is the Piz La Ila plateau: the Gardenaccia lifts are 450 meters away and lead into an area with gentle trails, wide views, and welcoming mountain huts. Those seeking peace and unspoiled nature can explore the Armentara meadows, famous for their botanical diversity and tranquility away from the more-traveled paths.
Peaks & Excursions
Mountain lovers will find countless challenges in the nearby Dolomites. We recommend climbing Gran Cir or Sas de Stria to admire the sunrise or sunset of the mountains. Well-known mountain lakes such as Lake Braies or Lake Sorapis, are also perfect for a day trip. Climbing enthusiasts will find numerous via ferratas for every level in the area.
Cycling & Mobility
La Villa is the ideal starting point for cyclists, especially during the summer Bike Days, when selected Dolomite passes are reserved for bikes. With the free guest card, you can use all valley buses and reach the center and main starting points easily, without a car. The nearest bus stop is about 500 meters away.
